are we prisoner of society?

i've doing research regarding this question...

and guess what a lot of answer appear to be "YES"

how come?

according to what it says...its the

LAW

SOCIETY CONFORMITY

CULTURE

SOCIETY VIEW...

all of this mentioned are the so far factor i found that makes us the prisoner of the society, not PHYSICALLY but rather SOUL AND MENTAL(psychological)

its still doubt me that even there's an example given in the democratic country where FREEDOM is so concern...still he or she is the prisoner of the society...

WHAT I AM GOING TO SAY HAS NOTHING GOT TO DO WITH ANYONE AH..

first, thing, due to my neutral principal, i am not going to discuss bout the LAW as being the factor for the us being the prisoner of the society...

but....

society conformity...

now this is something very disturbing, not to mention this research where conducted at the western society and western society are famous for their individualistic value...

from the word individualistic, u may knw what it meant oledi, so do i need to explain more?

society autonomy conformity is something like this, one group in the society says that this particular fashion is so nice so beautiful it makes u so adorable and a lot of guys will so like u if u dress up like this, ok then this group wears tat way and portray it to the society, and what happens the rest sees it wow!!! i lik i wear the same...then suddenly it will looks like UNIFORM for the whole society....but then when there's minor group who doesn't lik this fashion at all and wears as she likes and what happen here is that the one who fall into the conformity will degrade this group and thus discriminate them....then tats how the weirdo, gig, nerd, and so on appear in the society....

then

culture, well culture i do agree, its hard to say no to it... cos its ur backbone of who u r!!! and we all obtained it when we are here in this world!!

so why feel bad of being who u r? being in this culture being in ur own culture cos its ur belief of course!

to make it short...culture is ur background!! and background is reflecting the personality of who u are now and what are u going to be about....this is culture....so be proud of it!!!

but this factor has something got to do with society conformity and its the matter of majority!!!

and what happens is this, imagine, u are in the society where, majority is the culture A but u r the minority that having the culture B and whats going on here is this, the culture A will try to convince u or do something about it, which sometimes by force...so that u would "brainwashed" into the culture A and if u reject....the consequence is similar that is u'll be degraded and discriminate, thats why there a lot of nickname came out from this phenomenon; banana! (means u r chinese physically but u have this so called ang mo value inside (white)) or nigger or lakia or more....

for culture is the dangerous issue, why? a lot of wars happened because of cultural factor and oen famous example is the bosnia war and nazi's holocaust...

so tolerate pls.....

society view...and what i meant is media influence or propaganda or more....as long its what makes the society build their view or change their view...

but then le...i came across more!!!

one is Marylin Monroe, well back at her time she's consider the goddess beauty! but she's x fulfill current requirement of beauty, that is being slim! and slim as in lik coke bottle....but she's not at all....and its only half a century different....so whats next?

and because of this new media influence of beauty haiyo, cases for bulimia increases and till one of the supermodel died for suffering acute underweight...come on ppl...be who u are....

killed urself for the means of beauty? lol...

but for me, i don't think so i am a prisoner of society, according to my own perspective...and ya...after spending weeks doing research on this...i am still not convince!

why?

society conformity, for those who knws me well, do i dress like those up to date fashion? lik currently fashion is er....do i dress like those film star? ok let say i lik BEP (black eyed peas) so much!!! i somehow adore their music and their fashion too!!! but u ever see me wears lik them? hair style like them?

hahha my hair....well here in malaysia they x really likes the hair i am having now...but more to straight hairs....and not to mention, they said to me before, that i should not go under the sun so much, must protect my skin to maintain my skin to be fair...so what can i do if i got dark skin (cos i was so fair when i was small compare to now), it doesnt matter to me cos i am active thats how i got my skin tanned.. but weird thing is that, those western....rather goes to the beach to get their skin tanned not to mention products for skin tanned?

then culture...

i appreciate other culture but i x fall into them although honest speaking the culture in west malaysia and east malaysia jus across the sea, DIFFERENT A LOT!!!

how different should find out urself.....

and yes...it happens to some cases that some fanatic materialistic group said to me that we live on top of the trees.....and yet we still do ......and this has being going on for ages why? during my father's teenage time; they said the same thing to him....

and this is what my father told me to response to those fanatic group...

"yeah we stays on the tree...and we x wear slippers but only wears it when we goes abroad"

"true we x have tall buildings but we are proud cos we have beautiful beaches and trees...aka forest!!!

so ya to those fanatics, before u come to conclusion bout us stayin on trees, pls go visit sarawak or sabah first before this conclusion is drawn...

then....society view...

as i said BEP is my favourite!! but i x fall into those media influence...and watever shit says by the some ppl i x give a shit also....i still being myself...

they said in some society view that i cannot be third party for some cases

and the reasons is this; third party is annoying and always the cause for failure!!

ok if third party is annoying and the cause of failure then said this to US president when he always brings the two parties together to negotiation table or counselor, they are the third party too!! how...should knw why lo.....or worse come to worse....Jesus Christ for being the messiah and Nabi Muhammad for helping to reunite two clans...

so being a third party is something what they call it "KE-PO" come on...this is what they called it SAMARITAN ACT!!!
